FSW is one of the three federal immigration programs managed under Express Entry system, to qualify for FSW, a candidate must meet certain minimum requirements regarding years of work experience, level of education, age, and English or French language proficiency.
This program has minimum requirements for :-
- Skilled work experience - At least 12-months of continuous, full-time, skilled work experience completed within the previous 10 years (or an equal amount in part-time experience). Skilled experience must be gained under NOC (National Occupational Code) O, A or B
- Language ability - get a minimum score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in all 4 abilities.
- Education - A minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or the equivalent in foreign education
- Proof of Funds - Enough funds to support themselves and any spouse and/or children in settlement in Canada.
- Must intend to live outside of the province of Quebec.
