Canadian Experience
The Canadian Experience Class is one of the most popular programs managed under Express Entry system for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become a permanent resident. CEC opens the door for eligible international graduates in Canada and temporary workers to achieve their Canadian dream and establish themselves in Canada permanently.
To qualify for the CEC through Express Entry, candidate must have at least 12 months of skilled work experience under NOC A, O or B in Canada, in the last three years (before you apply). The work was: full-time OR an equal amount in part-time, must have gained your work experience in Canada with the proper authorization, must have taken approved language test and meet minimum requirements of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 (“initial intermediate”) or 7 (“adequate intermediate proficiency”) in English or French, must plan to live outside the province of Quebec.
There is no education requirement for the Canadian Experience Class, however, if you went to school in Canada, you might get additional points for eligible studies, you can get points for your foreign credential evaluated from a designated organization showing that your education is equal to a completed certificate, diploma, or degree from a Canadian: secondary institution (high school) or post-secondary institution.
