Express Entry
Express Entry is an application management system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage and process applications received through Canada’s federal economic immigration programs for skilled workers.
Express Entry manages applications for three economic immigration programs:-
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
Provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to meet local labour market needs.
Express Entry system awards points using CRS tool to professionals based on their age, language skills, education, work experience, Canadian employment status, provincial/territorial nomination, and other factors. The higher your points, the greater your chances of receiving an invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residency in Canada.
Two step processes :–
- Creating an online Express Entry profile, eligible candidate will be placed in pool of candidates
- Receive invitation to apply for permanent residence from IRCC.
Creating an Express Entry profile does not guarantee an ITA (Invitation to Apply), higher the CRS score of candidates based on eligibility factors increases the probability of getting an invitation under draw and cut off system, getting an ITA does not guarantee the approval of permanent residency application, candidates background and admissibility check will be performed by IRCC, correct documentation and presentation of application in rightful manner is extremely critical for any successful application.
